How to Use Temp Mail: A Simple Guide
Using temp mail takes about ten seconds, and there is nothing to install and no account to create. Here is the whole process, start to finish.
Step 1: Get your address
Open TempMailNet. A temp address is already waiting for you on the page. It looks like a normal email address, and it is yours for 60 minutes.
Step 2: Copy it and paste it where it is needed
Copy the address and paste it into the signup, login or verification form on the other site, exactly where it asks for an email address. Then ask that site to send the code or confirmation mail.
Step 3: Read the code in your temp inbox
The mail appears in the temp inbox on the same TempMailNet page, usually within seconds. Open it, copy the code, and paste it back into the other site. That is the whole job.
Step 4: Delete the address when you are done
When the signup is finished, delete the address. Its inbox and mail go with it. If you need more time, extend the address by 60 minutes before it expires, because once it is gone, its mail cannot be restored.
Three things to remember
First, temp mail only receives mail, it cannot send any. Second, use it only for trials, OTPs and low-risk signups, never for banking, password recovery, or accounts you must not lose. Third, if the account is one you will come back to, use a permanent address instead. TempMailNet offers free permanent email accounts with an inbox, aliases and storage for exactly that.
What if the code does not arrive?
Wait a minute, then ask the site to resend the code. Check the address is still active and has not expired. If the code still never comes, the site may be blocking temp mail domains, and then you need a permanent address or your real email instead.
